A Hidden Gem for Families
Staying in a historical building that used to be a palace adds a touch of grandeur and uniqueness to your family vacation. the rooms are comfortable, allowing you to relax after a long day exploring the nearby Borgia fortress or the city's main attractions. With its great value, this former palace offers an extraordinary experience without breaking the bank.
While there are plenty of positives to highlight, it's worth noting that the shower cubicles might be a bit flimsy, and the bathroom layout can be a little odd.

After a fun-filled day of skiing at nearby Monte Livata, our family was delighted to return to Palazzo Moraschi. The cozy and beautifully decorated rooms provided the perfect retreat after our outdoor adventures. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The central location of the hotel allowed us to easily explore the charming village of Subiaco and visit the historic monastic complexes of St. Benedict and St. Scholastica.
My children wanted a larger play area or game room for more entertainment options.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The old palace was charming and the room was small but colorful and functional with a fridge. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of sweet pastries and meats available. The hotel had gated off street parking and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, near the main city attractions and the Borgia fortress. We couldn't believe the great value for such a beautiful former palace hotel!
Absolutely nothing.

WiFi available, but unreliable. Great for playing hide-and-seek with the signal. Flat-screen TV for watching endless commercials. Free parking for those who enjoy testing their driving skills. Lovely garden, ideal for discovering new insect species.
Surprisingly, no unicorns were spotted during my stay. Such a disappointment.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, situated near the historic center and within walking distance of bars, restaurants, and a supermarket. the breakfast at the hotel was quite nice, with a variety of fresh pastries, homemade cake, and a selection of meats. the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome during our entire stay.
That the shower cubicle was a bit flimsy and the layout of the bathroom was a little odd. it was a bit cold in some areas of the hotel, although the bedroom was perfectly fine.

clean and well-located refurbished 18th century palazzo with great views - free parking, and plenty of room options. Loved the opera-themed decor and the theatrical atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the antique piano in one of the meeting rooms was a nice touch.
Strongly recommend.

We had a very nice experience at Palazzo Moraschi Subiaco Bed & Breakfast. The ancient building has been recently restyled and it is awesome. The clocks room was fascinating and added a unique touch to our stay. The location of the hotel is excellent, right downtown, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The balcony off our room was also a great feature, providing a lovely view. Despite a few minor drawbacks, overall I highly recommend this hotel.
